Tonight at Bay Park Speedway with 21w Stephen Taylor Racing for the Sprintcar Bay Champs. Also running here tonight is the Super Saloon boys of Peter Bengston & Ben Harding.

When you get rained off there’s always things to do.

Well after 7 weeks after NZ champs in Cromwell and both motors having trouble with temp. Went through everything from fuel tank to engine. Sent pumps away overseas to get tested. Got reports back. Bolted in a new fuel pump for weekend and temp sorted. Ran Bay Park Piston Cup After warm up power steer pump failed. With short turn around got it swapped out and done. Started 6th in feature fell back to 9th and when fuel load burnt off Stephen was on a mission. Got up to challenge for first with 9 laps to go. On a restart got put up in the fluff & fell back to 3rd which is where the 21w came home Good effort from the team and now eyes forward to Nth Island Champs. All this is not possible without Ian Taylor & the team from North City Diesel & all supported partners.
