The Paws 4 Life Foster Brigade has been hard at work these last few months. A rush of teeny tiny kittens were found, kind of everywhere, by awesome members of our community and made their way to our Shelter.

Our mighty Fosterers jumped in, took these little ones in and have raised them beautifully. (I might add that these incredible people do this all year round. Dishing out TLC like fairy dust, raising beautiful kittens).

As kittens graduate foster homes and kitten kindy, they move on to our final part of their journey, adoption into your homes.

The things we do. Behind the scenes it’s like playing a crazy game of whack-a-mole with all the goings on.

Recently we have been showering love on this little dot. Homeless, scared and desperately trying how to manage being friends with the nice lady trying to befriend her.

Fast forward and this kitten arrived here with us, with half a missing tail and what was left of her tail, was painful, infected and needed urgent surgery.

As always, our vet team take it all their stride and deliver every time. Her recovery went so well and rehabilitating her heart and helping her to develop to her potential, was pure joy for the Paws 4 Life team.

She learnt that she need not hide away and make herself small. She learnt the gentle touch of a hand from all her caretakers. She grew to love being in a comfy bed and enjoying great nutritional food.

Well today, this little one went home with the amazing lady who tried so hard to befriend her. Now they are together forever, right where they should be.
