❣️Another amazing week in Rotorua wrapping up the final week of campaigning.
Although it didn't play out the way I had hoped, I am so very proud of my positive, fresh approach.
I truly LOVE this city. People. Place. Purpose. always.

✅ Kicked off the final week of campaigning by donating blood with NZ Blood. I was blown away with other donors coming to chat election and share their support.
✅ Stomped the floor with Boots'n All Line Dancing Club.
✅ Check out the Night Market at the new trial location of Kuirau Park, loved hearing Nikau Grace singing.
✅ Got all my campaign signage down. A HUGE thank you to everyone who proudly displayed one of my billboards!
✅ Supported local business with Awards Prep - Nails by Meg, Laura Jane Make-Up, Honeycomb Hair, Haley Craig Spray Tan and Pedicure with Lady Diva.
✅ Rotorua Business Awards Rehearsal on Friday Afternoon, followed by Ariki Tibble farewell drinks. I have loved working with Ari for over 10 years.
✅ Got inked for Inktober with my talented friend Nicola Wright, who also was the incredible Graphic Designer who created my billboards.
✅ Had Progress Results come in, it was tight from Seat #5, Seat #6, 7, 8 + 9 with a good chunk of votes still to count.
✅ Hosted the 2025 Tompkins Wake Rotorua Business Awards, a magic evening filled with culture, creativity and celebration of our amazing Business Community.
✅ Was Volunteer MC for the inaugural NZ Downhill Junior Event at Skyline MTB Park. Loved seeing the next generation racing with age groups ranging from U7 to U15. Even spied a VOTE for Philly sticker in the wild!
✅ While continuing to work alongside local businesses for their Marketing + Event Services.
✅ Then got the Preliminary Results today, which didn't provide the shift I had hoped for. Some special votes still to count and final results will be announced on Thursday.

Although I'm disappointed not to have been elected, I am proud of the campaign I ran, no shadowcasting needed, no telling people who else to vote for....just authentically, positively ME!

I am truly grateful for your support.

Not only is it Election Day, but it's also the Tompkins Wake Rotorua Business Awards with the Rotorua Business Chamber , which I'm MC'ing.

There's plenty to celebrate in our amazing city and I'm looking forward to it!
