Today our tamariki enjoyed exploring a colourful cornflour and water activity outdoors. Using brushes, they painted, mixed, experimented, and created their own masterpieces on the concrete.

We enjoyed our Lunchbox Day, with tamariki excited to unpack their lunchboxes and share lunchtime with their friends. Mealtimes are a wonderful opportunity to build independence as children practise opening containers, making choices about what to eat, and taking responsibility for their own belongings.
Baking Day Fun at Learning Adventures as school holidays program….how exciting!!
Our tamariki rolled up their sleeves and became little bakers! Together with Kaiako Tracy and Hollie, they measured, poured, mixed, and watched the ingredients come together to create something delicious.
Baking is a wonderful hands-on learning experience that supports early maths concepts, language development, fine motor skills, turn-taking, and teamwork. It also encourages children to follow instructions, make predictions, and celebrate their shared achievements. There were plenty of smiles, curious conversations, and excited little helpers as everyone took part in the process and enjoyed their tasty creations together. Yum yum !!
