After surviving the clothing industry for around 40 years, I finally had to relinquish my passion & my business to look after my husband 24/7. That was in May 2017. These days, I feel I need to have a project on the go so have decided to start up a small business from home, making patterns for creative homesewers that want to be able to sew garments from a picture without the need to size them.
How it works:
You may choose a design, send me a picture with your measurements. I will get back to you on price & delivery time of your personal pattern.
Your pattern would arrive to you as a cut out tissue pattern with full instructions on how to assemble it. I will provide the details of quantity of fabric and any notions needed.

It is then up to you to cut out & makeup your chosen design.
I have a group of simple, easy fit designs that you can see here, if you wish to try these out first. There is a standard charge for standard sizing but again if they are individualised, there would be an extra charge that would be advised before starting.

After over 25 years in business, Jill Demchy Design has been sold. The new owner is Cathy & she is operating under the name of Sew New Ltd. Due to family illness, the business changed hands in May but I have been around since then helping Cathy get to know my loyal customers.Since then she has been working extremely hard & is setting up her own identity in the business.
