From fallen timber to functional art. 🔥

This side table started life as a storm-fallen log right here in New Zealand.

Finished using the traditional Japanese wood charring technique, Shou Sugi Ban (Yakisugi), which helps preserve the timber naturally while creating a unique, one-of-a-kind finish.

The charring process can help improve resistance to moisture, insects and decay while bringing out the character of the timber.

Every piece is handcrafted, and no two are ever the same.
