First Fellowship for 2026: A New Year’s Resolution and the Story of Zacchaeus

As we begin 2026, we reflect on New Year’s resolutions—commitments to change our bad habits and pursue better living. In the Bible, we see a powerful example of transformation in the story of Zacchaeus.

Zacchaeus was a sinner who chose to change his way of life to one that aligned with Jesus’ teachings. His encounter with Jesus marked the beginning of a new path—one of repentance and renewal. Similarly, a New Year’s resolution can symbolize our desire to turn away from what holds us back and move toward a better version of ourselves.

However, a life changed for Jesus is far more significant than any ordinary resolution. It is the most important decision we can make, for it determines our eternity. True change begins when we meet Jesus and place our faith in Him. Faith in Jesus leads us to repentance—turning away from sin and walking in His likeness.

By His love and grace, transformation is not only possible—it is promised.
May we be renewed day by day, growing into Christlike character as we journey through this new year.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the 𝐆𝐰𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 (𝐆𝐖𝐋𝐀)!

This award honors the legacy of 𝐆𝐰𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐠, who helped pioneer IVCF Philippines in 1953. It recognizes IVCF student leaders who demonstrate 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐝, 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 by starting new initiatives, establishing chapters, or expanding ministry in challenging contexts.

🌟 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞:

* Public recognition as "Gwen Wong Leadership Awardees" at the IVCF Annual Corporation Meeting.

Through this award, we are investing in students who have already demonstrated pioneering leadership, equipping them for 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭. Our awardees will also commit to 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 and sharing insights post-camp! 🎓
