The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Sarangani Province, through its Consumer Protection Division (CPD), conducted its regular weekly price and supply monitoring of basic necessities and prime commodities (BNPC), along with a special monitoring of rice and agricultural products, in Barangay Poblacion, Alabel, Sarangani Province. The activity was carried out by CPD Support Staff, Kristelle John P. Talino.

A total of nine (9) establishments were monitored, comprising three (3) grocery stores, one (1) hardware firm, and five (5) rice retailing
stores.

Results showed that the price and supply situation in Alabel remains manageable and stable, supported by a steady flow of goods. All monitored establishments reported sufficient stock to meet community demand, with no observed delivery delays or supply shortages. Most firms continue to rely on regular and timely deliveries from their suppliers.

A total of six (6) establishments were monitored, comprising (3) grocery stores and three (3) hardware firms.
