For its second year, the Bicol University Architecture Students’ Association (BUASA) and BUASA Arts Club, in partnership with Ayala Malls Legazpi, and with special participation of BUIDeA- Student Alliance for Gender Equality (SAGE), proudly presents "𝐀𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐯𝐞: 𝐀𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐤𝐢 𝐁𝐔𝐞ñ𝐨𝐬" at Ayala Malls Legazpi on March 1-31, 2025.

With the theme "𝘗𝘦𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯: 𝘚𝘺𝘮𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘝𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘉𝘳𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦," this exhibit will showcase the diverse and exceptional artistic talents of BUIDeA students, celebrating their creativity in both the arts and architecture.

This month-long event provides an immersive space for personal growth, creative expression, and networking with fellow artists, industry leaders, and the local community. This collaborative initiative not only highlights the immense talent of BUIDeA students but also fosters a strong sense of community, collaboration, and professional development, empowering them to push boundaries and build the foundation for their future careers.

𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦:

1. This exhibit features an open theme and is an exclusive event for BUASA members for the A.Y. 2024-2025. Non-BUASA members will be required to pay a registration fee of 100 pesos to join.

2. 𝙎𝙪𝙗𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨/𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙨: Artists must compile their best visual artworks or architectural designs (of any type) into a Google Drive folder and submit the link for approval.

3. 𝘾𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨: All forms of visual art and architectural designs are welcome for submission, including but not limited to paintings, architectural plates, miniatures, sculptures, woodcarvings, and other creative works.

4. 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠/𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙄𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: Along with the submission link, artists must provide a document containing the following details for each submission:
(1) Artist's name, year, and block
(2) Artwork/Design title, medium, size, and price (if for sale)
(3) A brief description (2-3 sentences) of the artwork/design

5. 𝙉𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨: Each artist/student may submit a maximum of 2-4 artworks/designs. Artists will be notified regarding which pieces are eligible for exhibition.

6. 𝙎𝙞𝙯𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨: Artworks and designs must not exceed 2x3 feet in size. If an artwork/design exceeds this size, the artist will be required to provide their own easel for display.

7. 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙍𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨:
🌸Artworks: All framed artworks (except those on canvas) must be framed in BLACK only and ready for hanging.
🌸Architectural Designs: Designs must be presented on a concise, well-laid-out poster, printed on paper no smaller than A3 size or on Sintra board. Due to limited easels, the number of designs printed on Sintra board will be restricted.
🌸All submissions must be ready to hang or display upon submission.

8. 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: Students are responsible for delivering their artworks/designs to the event venue and picking them up after the event.

9. 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣: For every artwork/design sold, 10% of the sale price will proceed to the Bicol University Architecture Students' Association (BUASA).

10. 𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜: If an artwork is sold, the artist is responsible for shipping it, with assistance from BUASA.

11. 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨/𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙨: Space is limited. The Arkive Working Committee will determine the placement of designs and artworks and reserves the right to adjust placements for aesthetic purposes.

12. 𝙇𝙞𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮: BUASA will take all necessary precautions when handling the artworks/designs but will not be held liable for any damage or losses incurred during the event that were not caused by the organizers and working committee.

13. 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠/𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙀𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮: BUASA has the right to reject artworks or designs that are not suitable for certain audiences.
