𝗥𝗛𝗨-𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗞𝗮𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗮

Earlier today, May 29, the Rural Health Unit of Allen led by Dr. Daisy F. Abasolo conducted a PuroKalusugan activity at the Lipata Multi-Purpose Hall, Brgy. Lipata, gathering diabetic and hypertensive clients, Barangay Health Workers, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, mothers, and senior citizens.

PuroKalusugan is a flagship program of the Department of Health that aims to bring primary healthcare services closer to communities through health promotion, disease prevention, early detection, and access to essential health services at the barangay level. During the activity, Astrudette Rosales, DMO IV and DOH representative, highlighted the program’s goal of empowering communities to take a more active role in maintaining their health and well-being. Lipata is the first among the ten selected barangays in Allen for the implementation of the program.

Participants received lectures on the 7 Healthy Habits, nutrition, hypertension, diabetes, smoking, and physical activity. The activity also included YAKAP registration, vital signs monitoring, medical consultations with free medicines, and the distribution of Oral Health Family Packages.

As part of the activity, a reorganization of the Hypertensive and Diabetic Club was also conducted, including the election of new officers. Also present was Lipata Punong Barangay Hon. Rowena Rustia.

Today, Barangay Sta. Rita celebrates its fiesta, bringing together residents, families, friends, and visitors in a meaningful occasion of thanksgiving, faith, and community gathering.

𝗟𝗚𝗨-𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗞𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗪𝗔 𝗻𝗶 𝗔𝗻𝗶 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝗮

As part of the celebration of Buwan ng Magsasaka at Mangingisda 2026, the Local Government Unit of Allen through the Municipal Agriculture Office officially launched the “KADIWA ni Ani at Kita” program on May 26, 2026 at the ALTT Grounds in Brgy. Sabang II.

The initiative created a direct marketplace for locally grown and harvested products, giving farmers and fisherfolk better opportunities to sell their produce while making fresh and affordable agricultural goods more accessible to consumers. The program also aims to strengthen local livelihoods and encourage support for products produced within the municipality.

𝗟𝗚𝗨-𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗸 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Local Government Unit of Allen, under the leadership of Mayor Katkat Suan through the Municipal Agriculture Office, celebrated Buwan ng Magsasaka at Mangingisda today, May 26, 2026, in recognition of the dedication and hard work of Allenian farmers and fisherfolk who continue to play an important role in providing food and supporting the local community.

The activity also served as a way of recognizing individuals and groups from the agriculture and fishery sectors for their contributions, including the PGS Core Group, LFFAC, AOVRAC, MAFC, MFARMC, and young Allenian farmers. The celebration concluded with the distribution of seedlings, organic fertilizers, and agri-fishery tools and equipment as additional support for local farmers and fisherfolk.
