A year ago, I fulfilled a dream hike and experienced it in its full glory. Looking back now, I remember the careful planning, the long preparations, the lessons, and every moment in between.

Mount Guiting-Guiting is the kind of mountain that humbles you no matter how much experience you have. Even when everything goes according to plan, the weather always has the final say.

We were fortunate enough to witness both its beauty and its madness — sharp ridges, endless exposure, and moments that make you feel small in the best way possible.
