Bayawan Trail Explorers - Btex

If the go-to caffeine and hype music just aren’t doing it for you, maybe reading some of this will make you get up and be hyped.

On the 9th of December 2023, two SKI (Special Kind of Idiots) as what ultra-runners often call themselves respectfully from our team, BTEX joined the “Negros 116 Ultra Marathon Challenge” covering KM 0 Capitol, Dumaguete City all the way to Guihulngan City. Yes you read it right, 116 kilometers of pure pain and maybe pleasure from start to finish.

The thought of joining it is scary but these two gritty hot dad from Bayawan City accepted the challenge and took the test, survived and became part of the few extraordinary people who has successfully finished and tested their own limits.

From our team, BTEX! We are proud for what you have completed sir Jayr Tenefrancia and sir Walter Sarino Arcon. Your dedication is off the chart and this needs to be recognize. We don’t know what motivates you but we admire you two.Thank you for inspiring us and congratulations.

Btex joins the recently concluded Bike ta Bai Epic Challenge held in Bohol last November 27, 2022. This is a tandem race with a distance of 100++ kms. Four Btex cyclist manage to land a podium spot during this said event.
