Every participant demonstrated that learning can be both fun and rewarding, with every answer reflecting dedication and thorough preparation. Congratulations to the winners and heartfelt applause to all participants who showed that true success lies in the courage to join, the effort to prepare, and the willingness to grow. This event was more than just a competition — it was a celebration of the future, reminding us that our youth are the hope and leaders of tomorrow.

Get ready for some hoops and action! 🏀 The Local Youth Development Council proudly presents a thrilling Basketball Exhibition Game as part of the 2nd Linggo ng Kabataan 2025 celebration! Come and witness this exciting matchups: Barangay Poblacion versus Barangay San Francisco in Game 1, followed by Abundayon Talibon battling against Inabanga Warriors in Game 2. It's going to be an action-packed event you won't want to miss!

Mark your calendars on August 23, 2025, and head over to the Pres. Carlos P. Garcia Multi-Purpose Center in Talibon, Bohol. The games tip off at 6:00 PM. For a minimal entrance fee of just 20 pesos, you can be part of this exhilarating sporting event. Join us and support our local youth! See you there! 🎉

📣📣📣SPORTS WRITING CONTEST ✍️

In celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2025, with the theme “Local Youth Actions for Sustainable Development Goals and Beyond,” the Sports Writing Contest was successfully held at the Alturas Atrium, Poblacion, Talibon, Bohol. This event provided a platform for young writers to showcase their talents by composing sports articles centered on the theme “Championship Title.”

This activity would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Janette A. Garcia, LLB, whose commitment to youth empowerment continues to inspire the community. Special thanks also go to our Local Youth Development Officer, Ms. Marianelli O. Buno, RPm, and SK Federated President, Hon. Frix T. Libres, for their active involvement in organizing and promoting youth-centered programs.

The Talibon Youth Development Council (TYDC) officials and members, together with the working committees, played a vital role in the success of this event. Gratitude is also extended to all SK Chairpersons from the different barangays who supported the contest by sending representatives to compete in the writing competition.

Most importantly, sincere appreciation goes to our panel of judges who dedicated their time and expertise in evaluating the participants' work. Their careful assessment ensured that deserving winners were recognized for their skill, creativity, and journalistic ability.

After an exciting and competitive session, the Sports Writing Contest concluded with the announcement of the winners:
