Working from home as a freelancer has its advantages - no more sitting in traffic, no more expensive coffee, and less time spent showering. However, this lifestyle does come with some disadvantages as well - having to juggle work and family time can be difficult.

There are plenty of reasons why I decided to become a freelancer, but the two main ones were that I wanted more control over my work/life balance and I wanted to earn more money.
As a freelancer, I can pick and choose the projects I want to work on, which means I can better manage my time around my family commitments. And because I'm not tied to one employer, I can charge more for my services - meaning I can earn a better income.
Of course, there are downsides to freelancing (like unstable income and having to constantly market yourself), but overall it's been a great decision for me and has allowed me to build a successful business while still being present in my kids' lives.
