We’re happy to share a design preview of this newly approved 5-unit apartment project in Bulacan.

The client’s main objective was to create a budget-friendly apartment while strictly limiting construction cost. In response, we designed the building with basic finishes and minimized the use of additional material treatments. Instead of hiding the raw materials, we embraced the positive qualities of exposed concrete, applying a brutalist architectural approach.

By carefully playing with form and proportion, we achieved a design that is aesthetically strong, functional, and cost-efficient, proving that simplicity and restraint can still result in a compelling architectural statement.

Project Title: House 1628
Floor Area: 111.00 sq.m.
Lot Area: 120.00 sq.m.

This house embraces a contemporary tropical modern architectural language, combining clean, minimalist volumes with perforated breeze-block screens. These elements don’t just shape the facade, they tell a story of light, airflow, and privacy working together. The brick-colored accent breeze blocks give the home a warm, distinctive character, allowing it to breathe while quietly standing out in its surroundings.
