Kalel's ASD Adventure
Hi,I'm Kalel,I'm 7 years old. I used to be non-verbal before. I was diagnosed w/ASD when I was 5 . Now i can tell my own stories and i am also fond of singing.
Why most vaccines are required even on a newborn baby??? It's all about the money... Still haven't done your deep research about the causes of Autism and other neurological disorders?!? That's why you didn't want to accept the fact that vaccines cause autism.

Social Exposure - Teach them young. That's the secret π
Palengke Visit (Short + Structured)
10β15 minutes lang muna
Let the child hand money, say "bayad po" pag mabuhay Ng sukli, always teach them to say thank you or βsalamat po,β or let them choose the vegetables they want. This is also a good way of teaching them different kinds or variants of fish and vegetables. Always ask them to greet the tindera, by saying hello or good afternoon/morning etc.
Tip: pumunta ng maaga para hindi masyadong maingay. It can be a fun way by asking them the names of the items they already know.
2. Barangay Playground (Off-Peak Hours)
Early morning or late afternoon
Focus muna sa parallel play (katabi lang, hindi forced interaction) then advance sa free-plqy meaning hahayaan nyo sya mag laro on their own given that you are a few feet behind them. Also tell them to always be careful. Alalay lng, Tayo tlga ang dpat unang mag let go sankanila for them to learn and develop their social skills.
3. Sari-Sari Store Errand
Simple script: βPabili po ngβ¦β
Repetition helps build confidence
Safe, familiar environment. Let them greet the store owner or any workersbsa grocery store simple by saying good morning, afternoon etc. I did this with Kalel sa Dali. Nka video pa sya, I haven't posted it yet. NSA labas lng ako, if needed assistance I still keep my distance while telling him where to go and what to get. Then sya nag bayad sa counter. Don't forget to teach them to say thank you.
4. Church (Short Stay)
Sit near exit para madaling lumabas
Exposure sa quiet rules, sitting, observing others
Kahit 5β10 minutes lang okay na. Sa bahay dpat nag start ang concept Ng prayers. Before going to bed, before eating, and while NSA byhe sa labas to keep them safe and to thank God for all the blessings. Yan ang tinuro nin kila Kalel's ASD Adventure and sabkapatid nya, to always thank God wherever you go, for all the blessings, guidance, and for keeping us all safe and healthy.
5. Family Gathering β Micro Exposure
cousin or friends
Set a clear time limit (β30 minutes lang tayoβ)
Safe person always nearby. Don't be afraid to let your child go out there and be with their cousins. Let them say Hi to everyone. Ang Una dapat nila mkabsalamuha or maging close ay non other than their own family π
6. Public Transport Practice (One Stop Only)
Jeepney, trike, or bus
Practice greeting driver or paying fare

Choose non-competitive activities
Observe muna before joining

Feeding pets, helping lola sweep, donating toys
Teaches empathy + social roles
No pressure to talk a lot.
11. Most importantly expose your kids into sports - Just like what I always tell the parents of our sports club, engaging into sports is a form of therapy especially for kids with autism and other neurological disorders. It also teaches them discipline and makes their body strong and healthy. Paraan din Ito pra Hindi sila ma overwhelm or ma burn out sa buhay nila, Kasi it will make them feel more relax (once rested) and it helps fight stress. Plus, they get to bond and play with other kids, mas beneficial if they get to be with neurotypical kids. Join SOP - Dream Catchers the champions of inclusion and see the difference πβ½ππΈπ
Important reminders
Exposure β pilitan
Small wins count
Meltdowns mean overload, not failure. That's normal. For me, I always try to trigger their limits Kasi habang tumatagal, nagiging tolerant silanhangagng sa Dumating ang panahon na hndi na sila ma Dali mag wala. Hahaha na ang pasensya nila and eventually ma a - outgrew na ang pagvl tatantrums. This is also applicable sa sounds, lights and other sensory issues.
Always prep with visuals, scripts, and expectations.
