The Municipality of Cauayan recently held an orientation on the Waste Analysis and Characterization Study (WACS), signaling a proactive approach to environmental management. This initiative, supported by Municipal Mayor John Rey D. Tabujara, underscores the municipality's commitment to sustainable waste management practices. Led by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), under the guidance of Mr. Roberto D. Tabujara, the orientation aimed to educate and engage local stakeholders in understanding the composition and sources of waste within the community. The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) also played a crucial role in this endeavor, providing expertise and resources to facilitate effective waste management strategies. This collaborative effort highlights the importance of community involvement and government leadership in addressing environmental challenges and promoting a cleaner, healthier environment for all residents.
