Local Archer Secures Bronze, Clinches Spot in Singapore Youth Championship

​CAUAYAN CITY, ISABELA — In a historic performance for the local archery scene, Zac Zayco officially qualified for the 2026 Singapore Archery Youth Championship after a podium finish at the ongoing World Archery Philippines Leg 1.

​Representing the Cauayan Target Archery Club—a burgeoning neophyte organization making its mark on the national stage—Zayco secured his international berth by placing third overall in the Compound Men Under 18 category. His bronze-medal performance in front of a home crowd solidifies his status as a rising star in the sport and marks a significant milestone for the Cauayan-based club.

Just in! Cauayan Archer Johncen Basubas officially qualifies for the PALARONG PAMBANSA 2026, with a score of 1210 over 1178 qualifying score.
