Mark Mahinay will return to the starting line of the EVA Air Marathon 2026 for the second time, carrying with him an inspiring story from last year’s race.

At the 2025 EVA Air Marathon in Taipei, Taiwan, Mark bravely completed the challenging 21KM race, finishing with an impressive 1:16 time and securing 12th place overall. What makes this achievement even more remarkable is the battle he faced even before the race began. Despite suffering from cough and fever and being on antibiotic treatment prior to leaving for Taiwan, he still chose to stand at the starting line and give his all.

True champions are not only measured by podium finishes, but by courage, resilience, and the will to push forward even when the odds are against them. Mark showed exactly what that means — running not just with strength, but with heart.

Now, he returns once again to the EVA Air Marathon 2026, ready to challenge himself, represent with pride, and continue inspiring fellow runners and supporters.

Once a fighter, always a fighter. The journey continues.
