LOOK: Globe Sustains Growth Momentum in First Quarter of 2026

Globe Telecom recorded strong financial and operational performance in the first quarter of 2026, posting ₱42.0 billion in consolidated service revenues, a 5% increase year-on-year driven by sustained demand for mobile data, fiber broadband, and enterprise digital services.

Mobile business revenues reached ₱30.0 billion, while Globe At Home broadband and corporate data businesses each grew by 6%, reflecting the company’s continued expansion in digital connectivity and ICT solutions. The company also reported a 7% rise in EBITDA to ₱22.2 billion, with data-driven services now contributing 91% of total consolidated revenues.

Globe further strengthened its digital ecosystem through the continued growth of GFiber Prepaid, which reached one million subscribers nationwide, and the strong contribution of Mynt, the parent company of GCash, which accounted for 30% of Globe’s pre-tax income during the quarter.

The company invested ₱12.7 billion in capital expenditures to expand network capacity, including the rollout of additional 5G sites and fiber lines across the country. Globe also earned recognition as the Philippines’ Most Recommended Internet Brand at the 2026 YouGov Awards and emerged as the highest-ranked company in Southeast Asia in the 2026 Digital Inclusion Benchmark of the World Benchmarking Alliance.
