May 2014 when the band had their first rehearsal. Guitarists Nyokz from Bohol and Jezrel from Cagayan de Oro worked for the same company in Cebu City where they became close friends. Through years, the band name & members were constantly changing. They settled on the name TRAPSOUL (coined by Raymond, vocalist) with the current line-up of band members.
