I watched a about a man aging in reverse, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and here are three of my reflections. ๐คฏ
๐๐ฒ๐๐๐, ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ ๐บ๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ. ๐ค
I was wondering where God could be.
Especially in challenging times. In distorted systems. In war. In poverty. In broken relationships. In failed dreams.
So I took time off. I went to a bookstore.
And maybe God was there.
He was in the pages whispering, โThe story is still unfolding.โ
He was in the faces of my friends. Smiling.
Even when I know how much weight they are carrying.
He was in the sky. That beautiful sky.
While I tried to finish a 3-km run, even when I didnโt feel like showing up that day.
Heโs there.
In the Blessed Sacrament, waiting for me to come and simply soak in His presence. A real presence.
I realized God was with me all along.
I donโt have to search somewhere far. He isnโt abstract.
I may not always understand His plans. But this, I know clearly: He loves me โ no matter how stubborn I get.
And maybe Heโs just waiting for me to finally look at Him.
