DdOSC Extension Services Division

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | In support of strengthening innovation, Davao de Oro State College and the Department of Science and Technology Regional Office XI (DOST XI) officially inaugurated the DdOSC Innovation Hub (iHub) on May 21, 2026, at the DdOSC Main Campus.

The facility is envisioned as a collaborative space for ideation, and technology-driven initiatives among students, faculty, researchers, and personnel.

Representing the Extension Services Division during the inauguration ceremony were ESD Director Jeson N. Geroche, RAgr., PhD, and Extension Services Unit Head April Rose Dianne A. Villaro, DBM, who eagerly attended the event to support the College’s growing innovation ecosystem and its potential contribution to extension initiatives.

Leading the ceremonial ribbon cutting were DOST XI Regional Director Dr. Anthony C. Sales, PFT, CESO III; Dr. Nathan Ray M. Alim, Assistant Regional Director for Research and Development for Development and Innovation Division of DOST Regional Office XI; Davao de Oro Provincial Science and Technology Director Engr. Laarnie D. Albacite; DdOSC President Dr. Lilybeth M. Matunhay; DdOSC Research and Development Director Jupite Mark U. Banayag; and Dr. Elizer M. Rebucas, Head of the DdOSC Innovation Unit.

The Extension Services Division expresses optimism that the Innovation Hub will open opportunities for future collaborations that integrate innovation, research, and extension services in addressing community needs across the region and beyond.
