LMP National President Faustino “Inno” Dy V and Mayor Annaliz Gonzales-Kwan, Presidential Adviser for Economic Affairs and Mayor of Guiuan, Eastern Samar, participated in the Zero Waste Forum in Istanbul, Türkiye, joining local leaders and policymakers from around the world in advancing sustainable waste management and environmental governance.
As among the speakers during the Mayors’ Roundtable Discussion, Mayor Inno and Mayor Annaliz shared their respective local government initiatives and best practices, highlighting innovative programs on sustainability, environmental stewardship, and community development. The session provided a valuable platform for exchanging ideas, fostering collaboration, and strengthening international partnerships among local governments committed to building cleaner, greener, and more resilient communities.
