The Training Induction Program (TIP) for the Diploma in Food Service Management (FSM) of DHRDC unfolded with purpose and excitement at the SB Hall in Daraga, bringing together aspiring food service professionals eager to begin their academic journey. The event highlighted the institution’s commitment to excellence, preparing learners for the dynamic and ever-growing hospitality industry.

Hon. Mayor Victor U. Perete graced the program with his presence, delivering an inspiring message that underscored the vital role of skills development in strengthening local communities and fostering economic progress. His support emphasized the municipality’s vision of empowering youth through quality education and technical training.

Throughout the program, participants gained an overview of the curriculum, expectations, and opportunities that await them in the FSM field. The TIP was made possible through Ma'am Shelley Marrione Villareal (TESDA Albay Focal Person) with Sir Dante Magayanes (DHRDC consultant/founder), Sir Salmer Arimado (School Registrar/AC Manager), Ma'am Princes Nakamura (FSM Program Chair), Sir Eric Lita (Admin Officer/FSM Instructor), Sir Dhon Llabres (Office Staff) and Ma'am Crizelda Banzuela (Office Staff) with the 25 luck beneficiaries as scholars of the said program.

The induction set a hopeful tone—motivating students to embrace discipline, passion, and service as they embark on their path toward professional growth and meaningful contribution to Daraga’s development.

The Cookery trainees (Batch 1, training year 2025) showcased their creativity and growing culinary confidence through an impressive array of egg dishes, turning a simple ingredient into extraordinary masterpieces. Each plate reflected not only skill but passion—golden omelets stuffed with vegetables, fluffy scrambled eggs infused with herbs, and perfectly poached eggs delicately placed over crisp toast.

Some trainees presented Asian-inspired egg rolls with vibrant fillings, while others demonstrated mastery through classic sunny-side-up eggs cooked to perfection. The aroma filled the kitchen, signaling dedication, teamwork, and pride in every step of preparation.

More than just a display of dishes, this activity became a meaningful journey of learning, where trainees discovered the versatility of eggs and the importance of technique, timing, and presentation. Their outputs were not only visually appetizing but also a symbol of growth, transforming theoretical lessons into actual culinary experiences. This showcase proved that with patience and creativity, even the humblest ingredient can become a delicious culinary masterpiece. The training was handled and supervised by Ma'am Pamela Zamora, cookery trainer.
