UTS-ITEP Online is honored to have as guest lecturer, Ruben L. F. Habito, on the subject “Spiritual Practice for Spiritual Caregivers in the Time of Pandemic.” He brings to us a wealth of experience and knowledge of over 30 years as professor of World Religions and Spirituality and Director of Spiritual Formation at Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. A Filipino Jesuit priest turned Zen master, he brings to us a deep spirituality and a lived-out inter-faith practice. His lecture will, first, lay out contexts of anxiety and fatigue especially during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Second, he will offer concrete practices that may help address anxiety and alleviate fatigue for those dedicated to caring for others. Lastly, he will propose a vision of possibilities that may emerge toward a new Earth and a new humanity.
