We are pleased to announce the launch of the 2nd Edition of 𝑻𝑨𝑩𝑨𝑵𝑮-𝑮𝑰𝑰𝑻𝑨𝑵: 𝑨 𝑳𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑯𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒋𝒆𝒄𝒕, an initiative dedicated to extending financial assistance to our most deserving members for the Academic Year 2026-2027. This project reflects our mission of solidarity and service, ensuring that support reaches those who truly need it most.

Please be reminded that due to limited funds, only two (2) scholars per zone and one (1) scholar per group chat (GC) will be accommodated for now. To ensure fairness and transparency, all applicants will undergo a thorough review and evaluation based on the set qualifications. Each applicant will be notified individually through our official communication channels once the selection process is complete.

Last March 13, 2026, the 𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒈-𝒈𝒊𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑫𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒏 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑻𝒐𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒔 𝑺𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒚 (𝑩𝑫𝑨𝑻𝑺) proudly received its Certificate of Accreditation as a recognized member of UNESCO Clubs in the Philippines. ✨

This recognition, conferred by the National Coordinating Body of UNESCO Clubs in the Philippines (NCBCUP), affirms BDATS’ commitment to advancing the ideals of UNESCO and contributing to the collective pursuit of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). 🌱🤝📚

Last 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟭𝟬–𝟭𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the BISU-MC Activity Center transformed into a vibrant hub of student creativity, collaboration, and entrepreneurship during 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻'𝘀 𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗢 𝘀𝗮 𝗕𝗜𝗦𝗨-𝗠𝗖 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗨𝗖𝗜𝗗𝗨𝗠: 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. 🏫✨

The Bang-giitang Dauisanon Association Towards Solidarity (BDATS) proudly participated through our Booth Exhibit, where we showcased the organization’s advocacy, initiatives, and community-centered vision. Throughout the three-day event, BDATS also conducted a Physical Membership Drive, warmly welcoming students who wish to be part of a movement rooted in solidarity, service, and youth empowerment. 🤝📋

This year’s participation became even more meaningful as it highlighted 𝐁𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐒 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐔𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐎 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 🌍—a milestone that strengthens our commitment to promoting the values of peace, cultural understanding, education, and sustainable development.

One of the major highlights of the event was the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, graced by the presence of Municipal Mayor, 𝙃𝙤𝙣. 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙖 “𝙈𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙢” 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙮𝙡𝙤, marking the official opening of TABO sa BISU-MC and adding significance to the celebration. ✂️🎗️

More than just booths and displays, TABO sa BISU-MC became a space where student leadership, creativity, and collaboration came alive within the BISU-MC community. 🌟

Their award-winning project, 𝘽𝙖𝙢𝘽𝙤𝙝𝙤𝙡: 𝘽𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙤𝙤 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚-𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝘽𝙤𝙝𝙤𝙡, was born from the urgent call to act amid the realities of climate change. By positioning bamboo as a nature-based, climate-smart solution, the project envisions stronger communities, sustainable livelihoods, and a more resilient Bohol—where environmental protection and development move hand in hand.

This achievement reflects the courage of youth who choose action over indifference and innovation over complacency. This remarkbale recognition is not only a win for BDATS, but a statement that the youth of Bohol are ready to lead the fight for a sustainable future. 🌿✨

In view of the continuing adverse weather conditions caused by Typhoon “Tiño” and in consideration of the safety and welfare of all students, the University hereby extends the conduct of Asynchronous Online Classes until November 7, 2025 (Friday) across all campuses of Bohol Island State University (BISU).

This extension seeks to ensure that students who may still be affected by the typhoon, particularly those experiencing travel limitations, connectivity challenges, or other unfavorable circumstances for in-person attendance, are given sufficient flexibility to continue their academic engagements safely.

The University advises everyone to remain cautious and to monitor official BISU communication platforms for further announcements regarding the resumption of regular face-to-face classes.

A University Memorandum shall follow.
