It's a farewell that aches,
memories that breaks,

As your chapter ends,
When pages could no longer be flipped,
What left me is the past pages we've made.

Day 19

'Endure'

The stronger the tree, deeper roots it's get, same as to our maturity, growing means deeper struggles that would eventually shapes our values.

Romans 5:3-4 Not only that, but we also boast[f] in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope. 5 Now this hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Serve the Lord while you're young, because as you get older, you'll have more troubles and responsibilities.

Blessed am I, for I knew God at a young age, and I will serve Him as much as my strength allows. I couldn't help sharing our conversation with my Bible study leader, who was going through challenges with her loved ones. She was weary and tired, sharing her troubles with me and saying, 'Blessed are you, Lang, privileged to have known God at such a young age. If you were older, you'd have more responsibilities and troubles.' I felt blessed conversing with her, as it uplifted my soul to serve the Lord, not by force, but out of gratitude. I'm grateful that Jesus came to save me, blotting out my sin by dying on the cross for me, saving me from judgment. and knowing that his grace is always available to keep me away from sinning.

Not a Victim — A Victor in Progress

You are not what happened to you.
Your past may have shaped you, but it doesn’t define your worth or your future. Healing from childhood trauma isn’t about pretending it didn’t hurt — it’s about realizing that pain doesn’t have the final word.

There comes a moment when you stop asking “Why me?” and start saying “Watch me.” Watch me heal. Watch me grow. Watch me choose peace where there once was pain.

You’re not a victim — you’re a survivor who’s learning to thrive.
Every step toward healing is proof of your strength, and every day you choose growth, you’re rewriting your story.

"Quite Expensive"
Have you ever wondered why your story is different from other people's? Why you're different and unique? Why you're sometimes broke and unease? Do you wonder why you're in different seasons and facing struggles that no one knew? Maybe, just maybe, the purpose is that you may someday touch other people's lives. Your brokenness is meant to make you more expensive. You remember how to make wine? First, the grapes must be crushed, and the longer it takes, the more expensive it gets. You are much more expensive than wine. Keep on pushing!

🌿 Why I Write

Writing, for me, isn’t just about words — it’s about being.
Here are the reasons that keep me coming back to the page:

A simple joy.
Writing started as a hobby — a space where I can relax, create, and simply enjoy putting my thoughts into words.

A way to lift myself up.
When life feels heavy, I write to remind myself of hope and progress. My words become small notes of encouragement to my own heart.

To spark inspiration.
I hope that through my reflections, others might find comfort, motivation, or even just the feeling that they’re not alone.

To gather my thoughts.
Writing helps me untangle the mess in my mind. It’s how I make sense of what I feel, believe, and experience.

To grow in expression.
Each post is a chance to improve — to communicate better, think deeper, and share more clearly with others.

Are we more guided by what appears on our screens, or by what God has spoken?

In a world driven by algorithms, trends, and social media feeds, it’s easy to let digital voices shape our beliefs and emotions.

May this reminds us to return to timeless truth—the Bible—rather than relying on fleeting, curated content.

A few days ago, I excitedly launched my freelance career. My inbox exploded with commissions – I was overjoyed! But then the follow-up questions started: how would clients pay me? I realized I had no online transaction setup, limited phone access, and unreliable internet. The result? Every single client backed out.
What did I learn? Talent and skills are crucial, but without preparation, all that hard work is wasted. It's vital to acknowledge shortcomings and address them proactively. Starting from scratch and facing setbacks is okay; what matters most is that I tried.
This experience taught me the value of preparation. It’s not enough to have the skills; you also need the infrastructure to support your work. The initial excitement of the commissions was quickly replaced by the harsh reality of my lack of preparation. This setback, while painful, has been a powerful lesson in the importance of planning and building a solid foundation before diving into new opportunities. I am now working to address my technical limitations so I can fully embrace my freelance career.
