𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤: 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐎𝐃𝐈)

In line with the 𝟭𝟴-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 (𝗩𝗔𝗪), the 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 conducted a two-part activity on 10 December 2025, at the Social Hall, New Executive Building, JP Laurel St., San Miguel, Manila.

Dir. Kristine Joy N. Llano welcomed the PCO personnel by emphasizing the importance of promoting safe and inclusive workspaces.

Atty. Allen led the morning and afternoon sessions, discussing key legal frameworks related to sexual harassment, including the Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313) and the Anti-Sexual Harassment Law (RA 7877). Further, she highlighted the Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI)'s crucial role in handling sexual harassment cases fairly, confidentially, and promptly. The sessions emphasized institutional mechanisms for ensuring accountability and protecting human dignity.

Through these initiatives, the PCO reaffirms its commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and gender-responsive environment toward a more inclusive Bagong Pilipinas.

Ngayong Mayo 1, 2026, ipinagdiriwang ang ika-124 na taon ng Araw ng Paggawa sa Pilipinas, na may temang “Disenteng Trabaho Para sa Lahat: Iisang Hangarin, Bagong Pilipinas Sama-samang Mararating.” Dahil dito, kinikilala natin ang galing, lakas, at sipag ng mga manggagawang Pilipino bilang sandigan ng ating mga pamilya at ekonomiya.

Patuloy tayong makikiisa sa pagsusulong ng pantay na karapatan at oportunidad para sa lahat ng mga manggagawa, anuman ang kanilang kasarian at estado sa buhay, tungo sa isang inklusibo at maunlad na Bagong Pilipinas.
