New season. New responsibilities. New kind of stretching.
The past months have been so full â physically, emotionally, mentally. But we finally opened our doors last week, and that alone is already something weâre so grateful for. đ€ God has been faithful through every doubt and delay.

Hope wanted a creamier pasta using my basil pesto â so ta-da! I used one bottle of pesto and added one pack of NestlĂ© All-Purpose Cream, plus a little salt and pepper. Then I tossed in the boiled spaghetti with some pasta water, and that was it!
Hubby said itâs so delicious it could actually be sold.

New Yearâs Eve, I was baking sourdough while waiting for midnight. We went outside the gate to watch the fireworks, the kids were busy making sâmores, and time just slipped by.
After more than an hour, I remembered my bread.
It was burned.
But honestly, the moment wasnât. The laughter, the fireworks, the memories â they werenât wasted. Sometimes you lose a loaf because you chose to be present, and thatâs not always a bad thing. Just a reminder to be a little wiser next time.
