On June 22, 2026, the key locator companies of the Leyte Industrial Development Estate - special economic zone (LIDE-sez), particularly the Philippine Phosphate Fertilizer Corporation (PHILPHOS), Philippine Associated Smelting and Refining Corporation (PASAR), Hong Kong Imperial Awards Mining Philippines, Inc. (HKIAMPI), Cleanaway Philippines Inc. (CPI), Isabel Ancillary Services Co. Ltd. (IASCO), and the LIDE Management Corporation (LMC) shared their companies' roles and positive contribution to the environment and the community through the team's Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Campaign to residents of the Barangay Apale, Isabel, Leyte at the Barangay Apale Multi-Purpose Center.

This joint effort forms part of each companies' IEC campaign for the year.

Earlier today, the LIDE Management Corporation (LMC) participated in the Municipal-wide Simultaneous Cleanup Drive organized by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Isabel, helping clean Bilwang Creek in Brgy. Bilwang together with barangay officials and community volunteers.

The activity highlighted the importance of keeping waterways free from waste to help prevent flooding during the rainy season, while fostering environmental responsibility and active community involvement.

Today, the LIDE Management Corporation (LMC), together with the LIDE Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (LEDEVCO), participated in the Simultaneous Coastal Clean-up Drive organized by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Isabel at the coastal area of Brgy. Bilwang, Isabel, Leyte, while other locator companies within the Leyte Industrial Development Estate (LIDE) simultaneously conducted clean-up activities in different barangay coastal areas across the municipality.

The activity brought together volunteers and stakeholders from both the public and private sectors in a collective effort to promote environmental awareness and help preserve the cleanliness and sustainability of Isabel’s coastal communities.
