PULIS BULACAN, MABILIS NA RUMESPONDE SA RESIDENTENG INATAKE NG SEIZURE

Muling pinatunayan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na higit pa sa pagpapatupad ng batas ang kanilang tungkulin, kundi ang taos-pusong paglilingkod sa mamamayan, matapos agarang tumulong ang mga personnel ng Bulacan 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) sa isang lalaking inatake ng seizure sa Brgy. Cruz na Daan, San Rafael, Bulacan noong hapon ng Enero 29, 2026.

Dakong alas-4:00 ng hapon, nagsasagawa ng police presence operation ang mga personnel ng Bulacan 2nd PMFC sa pangunguna ni PMSg Emmanuel Guiam nang biglang mangailangan ng agarang tulong medikal ang isang residente sa lugar.

Agad na rumesponde ang mga pulis at nagbigay ng paunang lunas, tiniyak ang kaligtasan ng pasyente, at humingi ng karagdagang tulong medikal habang hinihintay ang karampatang medical support.

Dahil sa maagap at maingat na aksyon ng kapulisan, nanatiling ligtas at naasikaso ang pasyente sa gitna ng kritikal na sitwasyon.

Pinuri ni PNP Chief, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., ang ipinakitang malasakit ng mga pulis sa Bulacan, at iginiit na ito ang tunay na diwa ng serbisyo publiko.

“Ang pagiging pulis ay hindi lang tungkol sa pagpapatrolya o pagpigil sa krimen. Kapag may kababayan tayong nangangailangan ng tulong, natural na agad tayong kikilos. Ito ang klase ng pulis na gusto nating makita—maalalahanin, alerto at may malasakit,” ani PGen Nartatez Jr.

“Ang ganitong mga simpleng aksyon ang tunay na nararamdaman ng tao. Dito nagsisimula ang tiwala ng komunidad sa kanilang kapulisan,” dagdag pa ng Chief PNP, PGEN Nartatez Jr.

Ang insidenteng ito ay malinaw na patunay ng adbokasiya ng PNP na “Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman,” kung saan ang bawat pulis ay handang umalalay at maglingkod, anumang oras at anumang sitwasyon.

PNP: DOJ REVIEW UNDERWAY AS SILG SAYS MOLLENIDO CASE A ‘SLAM DUNK’

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday said it is confident in the strength of the cases to be filed in connection with the brutal killing of Police Senior Master Sergeant (PSMS) Diane Marie Mollenido, 38, and her eight-year-old son, following the completion of an extensive investigation spanning multiple regions.

During a press briefing held this morning at the PNP National Headquarters in Camp Crame, Secretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla described the case as airtight, citing strong evidence, witness accounts, forensic findings, and corroborated timelines.

“I think this is a slam dunk case. But for the appreciation of the DOJ, ang tingin ko tapos na ’tong kasong ’to. Certainty of conviction na ’to for both cases,” Secretary Remulla said.

PSMS Mollenido and her son were reported missing on January 16, 2026, in Quezon City. Their bodies were later recovered separately in Bulacan and Tarlac, prompting an intensified multi-unit investigation by the PNP.

Investigations showed that the victims lost their lives in connection with a vehicle transaction involving several individuals. Authorities have taken three persons of interest into custody, while charges for robbery with homicide and theft have been filed and are now undergoing inquest proceedings.

The victims’ husband voluntarily appeared and is cooperating with authorities, while another individual linked to the case voluntarily surrendered.

According to Secretary Remulla, PSMS Mollenido sustained gunshot injuries inside the suspects’ residence, while her son later died.

“Under protective custody ang mga involved, pero ang lumalabas talaga, malinaw na tapos na ang imbestigasyon at maayos na ang ebidensya para sa DOJ review,” SILG Remulla said.

Authorities further revealed that the suspects transported the bodies across provinces before disposing of them in separate locations. CCTV footage, forensic evidence, and DNA findings recovered from the suspects’ vehicle corroborated the sequence of events.

PNP Chief PGen Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., who was present during the briefing along with NCRPO Regional Director PMGen Anthony A. Aberin, Acting District Director, QCPD PCol Randy Glenn Silvio and PRO3 Regional Director PBGen Rogelio P. Penones Jr., assured the public that justice will be pursued relentlessly.

“This case shows the PNP’s firm resolve to hold perpetrators accountable, regardless of their background or former position,” Chief PNP, PGen Nartatez Jr. said.

The top cop also directed that investigators give this case the highest priority, ensuring all leads are thoroughly pursued and the matter is resolved as swiftly as possible.

“We are leaving no stone unturned. Every detail is being verified, and all resources of the PNP are being mobilized to ensure justice is served swiftly and fairly,” PGen Nartatez Jr. stated.

The PNP confirmed that criminal charges are now being finalized for filing before the Department of Justice, while one individual—identified as the estranged husband of the victim—is currently under restrictive custody as a person of interest, pending further evaluation of his possible involvement.

“Sisiguraduhin ng PNP na kumpleto at matibay ang ebidensiyang ihahain sa piskalya upang makamit ang hustisya para sa mga biktima,” PGen Nartatez Jr. added.

PNP CRACKS DOWN ON ILLEGAL RECRUITMENT: 4 ARRESTED, 2 AGENCIES SHUT DOWN

In a strong stand against exploitation and fraudulent overseas job schemes, the Philippine National Police (PNP), in coordination with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), struck hard at illegal recruitment operations, arresting four suspects and shutting down two unlicensed agencies in Tanza, Cavite and Cubao, Quezon City. The move underscores the PNP’s commitment to protecting Filipinos from unscrupulous recruiters preying on their hopes for a better life abroad.

This operation, conducted on January 26 and 30, 2026, forms part of the PNP’s Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO) under the PNP Focused Agenda, which prioritizes safeguarding Filipinos from all forms of criminality, including online scams and human trafficking.

According to reports, the first operation in Tanza, Cavite led to the arrest of “Mario,” 43, owner of a travel agency allegedly recruiting migrant workers for South Korea without DMW approval. Applicants were promised jobs as hotel cleaners and laundry staff with salaries of 2,200,000 Korean Won (around ₱92,000.00) in exchange for an ₱80,000.00 processing fee. Mario was caught while collecting payment from an applicant, and his agency was immediately closed.

In a follow-up operation in Cubao, Quezon City, CIDG and DMW apprehended three female employees—“Ann,” “Kris,” and “Tina”—of a manpower agency. The suspects were offering jobs in Hong Kong, Qatar, and Greece for a processing fee of ₱35,000.00, despite lacking the necessary registration with DMW. The agency was likewise shut down.

“These arrests and closures send a strong message: the PNP will not tolerate any illegal recruitment that exploits our kababayan, especially our overseas Filipino workers,” said PNP Chief, PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. “Ang ating layunin ay protektahan ang ating mga kababayan mula sa pandaraya at pang-aabuso. Hindi kami titigil sa ating laban sa ilegal na gawain, maging sa online man o sa pisikal na operasyon.”

He added, “The PNP remains committed to working hand in hand with the Department of Migrant Workers to dismantle fraudulent recruitment operations nationwide. Through EMPO, we ensure that every operation is carefully planned, focused, and achieves real results for the protection of every Filipino.”
