Kidapawan Doctors College Inc. Science Laboratory Department led by Ma'am Honey Lyn Go, MSc. bags the award "Champion" in DepEd Kidapawan Division's search for the "Most Functional Science Laboratory" particularly for the Senior High School Level last December 16, 2025 during the "KISLAP: Gabi ng Parangal at Pagdiwang" at Jireh Alliance School, Kidapawan City.

The evaluation of the school's laboratory facilities located specifically at the Annex Campus by the division office was conducted last December 11, 2025 showing that the school has top-notch and superior infrastructures deserving of that award. The recognition of our institution in this aspect is a testimony of our school's dedication to provide high quality and outstanding education to every KDCIan.

AIM HIGH! SENIOR HIGH!

The KDCI Science Laboratory Department in partnership with the KDCI-SHS Department will be launching its first batch of SHS Skills Laboratory Enhancement Program for the S.Y. 2025-2026 on August 5, 2026 at MT DemoLab, KDCI Annex building.

This program was designed in order for our SHS students to be exposed in different Laboratory activities and shall gain advanced learnings with regards to basic laboratory conduct, safety and emergency protocols.

The speaker for the 1st session of this program is Miss HONEY LYN ALISQUIO-GO, MSc. - the Head of Science Laboratory Department. She will be discussing the following topics:
📌Basic Laboratory Safety
📌Laboratory materials and equipment awareness
📌Microscopy

𝐄𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐊𝐃𝐂𝐈-𝐃𝐑𝐑𝐌 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫-𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩

As an initiative to create a safe, resilient, and prepared environment, the Kidapawan Doctors College, Inc, through the Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) office, organized a School Disaster Management Seminar Workshop last August 1, 2025 with the theme, "To strengthen the climate-smart disaster resilience through education."

The said seminar, spearheaded by Joel A. Villanueva, LPT, the newly-appointed DRRM Coordinator, aimed to ensure the safety and protection of learners, teachers, and school personnel before, during, and after disasters and emergencies, and strengthen disaster resilience in the education sector through preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation strategies.

Various activities were conducted which was facilitated by the DRRM Personnel from the DepEd Kidapawan City Division, such as setting DRRM goals and objectives and creating risk assessment.

The basis of creating a School Disaster Management Plan was highlighted in RA 10121 or the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010, which establishes a DRRM framework in our country. It also mandates schools to mainstream DRRM in the education sector and enables schools to craft programs and contingency plans.

Today, July 28, 2025, the Kidapawan Doctors College Inc. welcomed the freshmen for Academic Year 2025–2026 through an institutional orientation.

This event aims to formally introduce the students to the institution’s mission, vision, policies, and support services, while also fostering a sense of belonging and readiness as they begin their academic journey.

In the afternoon session, parents and guardians were also invited to take part in the orientation, highlighting KDCI’s commitment to building a strong partnership with families in supporting student success.
