𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 ☘️💚

The Girl Scouts started 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟏 with an 𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒆 where the scouts went from station to station to learn new things and improve leadership and teamwork. This was followed by an 𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and an 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 program. The first segment featured 𝑭𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝑩𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑴𝒆—𝒂 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎 where the scouts teamed up with other schools and wrote reflections based on the activities.

After lunch, the afternoon sessions included 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 focusing on self-reflection activities like Mirror Mirror, Mirror vs. Self, and Ladder Growth. For the third segment, 𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇, 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇 : 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑯𝑰𝑽 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 emphasized prevention and informed decision-making. ❤️‍🩹📢

The day continued with 𝑹𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒏 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑩𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈: 𝑩𝒐𝒚 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒔 𝑮𝒊𝒓𝒍, where facilitators asked questions and special guests answered. This was followed by 𝑯𝒆𝒓 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚, 𝑯𝒆𝒓 𝑳𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒄𝒚, where they shared their GSP experience.

The day ended with 𝑻𝒂𝒊𝒛é 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓 where the scouts wrote their prayers or petitions on a sticky note, followed by 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒛𝒆 𝑱𝒂𝒎, where everyone sang, vibed, and praised God together. 🙏🎉

For 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐, the day started with 𝒁𝒖𝒎𝒃𝒂, making sure everyone was energized. The first segment was 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒃𝒍𝒂𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑: 𝑳𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒂 𝑺𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒕'𝒔 𝑱𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚, where he shared information about the BSP and his experiences. Before the event ended, the scouts had 𝑹𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝑼𝒑: 𝑩𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆, where each scout wrote their commitment for the organization. 🗣️✊

The GS conference was surely a great experience! Every scouts interacted with each other, built friendships, and gained valuable learnings that strengthened their unity and purpose. 🥹💖

On 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, marks the last day of the summer training with the lower scouts. The day began with 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, where scouts rotated every 40 minutes per troop. In 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟏: 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, facilitated by 𝐂𝐝𝐭. 𝐒𝐜𝐭. 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐒𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐚 𝐀. 𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚, scouts created paintings that visually represented what service means to them, then explained their artwork in front of the group. The activity ended with a discussion on the true meaning of service and its importance in scouting and everyday life. In 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐: 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, led by 𝐂𝐝𝐭. 𝐒𝐜𝐭. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐀. 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐳, scouts designed their own badges that represented their personality, strengths, and interests, followed by selected presentations and a reminder that each scout is unique. In 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟑: 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, facilitated by 𝐂𝐝𝐭. 𝐒𝐜𝐭. 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐉. 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞, scouts were divided into two teams and debated whether a flexible or resilient leader is more effective, with each member required to speak before the final synthesis of ideas. 🎨🧠

This was followed by “𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐖𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬!”, where patrols completed different stations to earn balls. In 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟏: 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥! scouts held ropes attached to a suspended tray with a hole in the middle and had to control the movement to guide a ping pong ball into a cup. In 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐: 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝!, scouts formed a circle and balanced pens between their fingers without gripping them while moving together across a set distance. In 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟑: 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥!, scouts used strings to suspend and guide balls into a container. In 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟒: 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋!, they used balloon sticks to carefully pass ping pong balls to each other until enough were collected. In 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟓: 𝐓𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌&𝐌𝐬, scouts used straws and suction to transfer M&Ms from one plate to another. In 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟔: 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐥, scouts used barbeque sticks to carefully push a ping pong ball out of a grill without dropping it. ⚽🔥

Next, the scouts worked on 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, where they created a project plan including a budget breakdown and flow of activities, followed by their 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 where each troop explained their ideas and proposed ex*****on. 📊📝

The energy continued with an 𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞. In 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟏: 𝐁𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐫𝐞, scouts relied on guidance while blindfolded to reach a target. In 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐: 𝐋𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐨 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤, they completed a movement-based walking challenge. In 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟑: 𝐋𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐳𝐞, scouts carefully navigated through a restricted path without touching the “lasers.” In 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟒: 𝐌𝐮𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐞, they crawled through muddy terrain. In 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟓: 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬, they transferred water across teammates without spilling too much. In 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟔: 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐨 𝐇𝐨𝐩, scouts moved forward through hopping. Each completed station earned them a card that they had to keep safe until the end. 🏃‍♀️🎯

After a long day of activities, everyone cleaned up and prepared for the 𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐨-𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐨 with parents and guests. This was followed by the 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, where each patrol, along with the cadets, showcased their performances. 🎭🔥

As most scouts headed home, the Troop 3 scouts stayed for their own 𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 with a horror-themed fashion show, confidently presenting their characters. The day officially closed with the 𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 for Catholics and 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐬 for non-Catholics, followed by lights out. 🌙🙏

And just like a constellation, every lesson, challenge, and memory from Day 3 became another star—completing the story of this year’s summer training. ✨🪽

On 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the SciHi Angels continued their journey through Day 2 of Summer Training, filled with energy, teamwork, and unforgettable experiences. The day began with the scouts continuing their 𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬, followed by the much-awaited 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐬. ⛅💚

The morning kicked off with a series of patrol races that tested coordination and unity. In the 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫, scouts worked together by connecting their feet, moving as one to reach the finish line. This was followed by 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬, where pairs balanced bamboo on their feet while racing forward, requiring both focus and teamwork. 🐛🎋

One of the highlights of the day was the 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, where each patrol showcased their creativity and teamwork through their signature dishes. 🍳👩‍🍳
• 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝟏 served breaded pork chops paired with creamy mashed potatoes
• 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝟐 prepared fried chicken with crispy French fries
• 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝟑 cooked a rich and savory pork menudo
• 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝟒 presented chicken tenders with mixed vegetables
• 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝟓 made a comforting sinigang served with dynamite rolls
• 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝟔 impressed with their flavorful humba paired with tuna bites

As the patrols prepared their dishes, cadets went around to interview each group’s “master chefs,” adding excitement and interaction to the activity.

The afternoon continued with fun and physically challenging games. In 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭, scouts linked their bodies together to move as one, while another activity had them 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 their way to the finish line—resulting in laughter, chaos, and unforgettable moments. 🐙🔄

The excitement peaked during the 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞, where patrols faced multiple stations and challenges while carrying two eggs throughout the course—testing not only their speed, but also their care and coordination to keep the eggs unbroken. 🥚🏁

To move between stations, teams performed the “horse position,” forming a connected chain by linking arms and jumping together in sync—requiring full cooperation from every member.

At each station, the scouts took on unique challenges:
• 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬 – guiding a suspended cup across a string by blowing air into it
• 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 – coordinating pulls on strings to stack cups into a tower
• 𝐁𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐞𝐫 – filling a bottle while vision is limited through a cone
• 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 – passing cups of water across teammates while lying down
• 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝-𝐭𝐨-𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 – transferring a ping pong ball using cups on their heads
• 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥 – navigating a ball through a maze using only air

Each station challenged the scouts’ teamwork, patience, and determination, making the race both chaotic and exciting from start to finish. ⛳🎯

To end the day, the scouts gathered once more for the 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐬 and 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, celebrating the efforts, resilience, and spirit shown by every patrol throughout the day.

Indeed, Day 2 was a constellation of teamwork, perseverance, and growth—each scout shining brightly in their own way. Keep reaching for the stars, and congratulations, girls! ☘️💌
