Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you and share some insights

1.) It really means a lot when people show up: When friends show up. Even when you live far from each other and life looks totally different, some people, once you send that invite, will just find a way to be there. And that’s so rare and special.

2.) The internet is a blessing: It’s amazing how these girls used to be strangers online, and a few invites later, they’ve become real friends and a support systems. It all depends on how you approach it.

3.) A reminder to embrace what makes you different: What makes it extra special is that we connected because of something that made us different, being Blasian in the Philippines. And if it wasn’t for that shared experience, we probably wouldn’t have noticed each other as much or felt that instant connection.

4.) Knock & the door shall be opened: This is our (Jeska & Kahlea) first event together. We weren’t expecting friends to come, honestly. This was such a sweet surprise. It’s a reminder that people do want to show up for you — you just have to let them.

5.) Don’t be afraid to be that friend. We all need that 1 friend who takes the initiative to invite. Even if you get rejected a few times, it doesn’t mean they don’t care. Life gets busy. Don’t take it personally. Just keep showing up yourself, and trust that the right people will meet you there.

We’re really grateful. And I hope this for everyone: deeper friendships, more honest support, and people who truly see you.
