STOP THE FIRE EVEN WITHOUT A FIRE EXTINGUISHER! 🔥 | Ensure fire safety at all times, especially in these times of extreme heat! Here are some important tips you can do at home or in your office to stop a fire even without a fire extinguisher.

✅ Water
Effective for small fires. Use water, aiming at the base of the fire, especially if caused by paper, wood, or cloth.

✅ Baking Soda or Salt
For grease or cooking fires, throw baking soda to smother the flames releasing carbon dioxide and helps in suffocating the fire. Salt, on the other hand, doesn't burn nor react with fire. This serves as a barrier that consumes oxygen thus extinguishing the fire.

✅ Wet Blanket or Towel
The wetness of the blanket or towel absorbs heat and further reduces the temperature, cutting off the oxygen supply, preventing the spread of flames.

✅ Sand or Soil
By covering the fire with sand or soil, especially for small/outdoor fires, this effectively cuts off the air needed for combustion, causing the fire to slow down and eventually die out.

✅ Turn off the electrical supply
If the fire is electrical, turn off the power (if possible) to prevent an electric shock.

✅ Evacuate and Call Emergency Hotlines
