Financial literacy is not just for the wealthy, it's for EVERYONE.

07/03/2023

Happy Women's Month! As we celebrate the achievements and contributions of women, let's also take a moment to focus on an important aspect of our lives - our financial well-being.

Financial literacy is a critical skill for everyone, especially women. Did you know that women often face unique financial challenges such as the gender pay gap, longer life expectancy, and caregiving responsibilities?

That's why it's crucial for us to educate ourselves about personal finance and take control of our financial future. By understanding basic financial concepts like budgeting, saving, and investing, we can make informed decisions and plan for our long-term goals.

This Women's Month, let's prioritize our financial well-being and invest in our future. Attend a financial education workshop, read a personal finance book, or talk to a financial educator. Let's empower ourselves with knowledge and take control of our financial lives.

Here's our online event via Zoom Meeting for today March 7, 2023:

4pm Secret to Saving and Building your Future
Meeting ID: 827 0764 6902
Passcode: PC2021

Remember, financial independence is not just a goal, it's a path to greater freedom and security for ourselves and our families. Happy Women's Month!

MAGPAPASKO NAAA!!!

Christmas BONUS is coming to town (sana all may bonus...hahaha)

So what do you do with it?? I mean it's like EXTRA CASH from your usual pay per month right..

Will you spend it on another gadget?

Another pair of shoes??

or

Bili nalang ng additional food for the christmas eve para mas bongga ang handaan??

Hmmm... pwede kaya lang baka hindi maubos ang food eh mapapanis lang sayang naman..

Let me share with you the reason behind the 13th-month pay bakit may 13th month ehh 12 months lang meron sa calendar???

The sole purpose of 13th-month pay, according to PD 851, is “so working masses can properly celebrate Christmas and New Year” and an opportunity for them to SAVE or INVEST.

Disclaimer: This statement is posted by Sen. Imee Marcos from facebook. (I just copied and pasted it here...)

Well, my point is that cash aside from your usual monthly salary is called extra. Since you have extra cash on hand you are given an opportunity to either spend it all you want and become a one-day millionaire or save and invest it so you won't be having a hard time looking for money when life happens such as the death of a loved one, emergencies or even retirement.

So why am I saying these things?..

You see many employees from private or government agencies don't bother to think about these. I often hear them say..

"May sahod pa naman ako na darating ehh ok lang yan.."

"Minsan lang naman 'to"

Sure there's nothing wrong with buying new things as Christmas gifts after all you've worked hard for it.

What's wrong is that...

Hindi ka nagtitira or you don't spare some for your savings and investments before you spend. You think hindi ka nawawalan ng pera kasi may trabaho ka, yes that's true naman..

BUT WHAT IF..

You STOP WORKING..

Your INCOME STOPS..

BONUSES STOP..

So learn to have discipline in handling your hard-earned money after all it's YOU who worked hard for it.

Can MONEY really buy happiness??

Hey there ...

Most people say money can't buy happiness...

But they love to travel, eat their favorite food at their favorite restaurants, shop bags, clothes etc.. kasi nga daw "You Only Live Once" (YOLO) might as well enjoy life while you're still young and free..

Sabi naman ng mga couples na bisaya:

"bahalag saging basta labing"
"bahalag ginamos basta ang gugma nag uros-uros"

Pero ..

The TRUTH is we're all working for money to make us happy by buying the things that we need and want..

These are just a few of so many scenarios people neglect to think about when it comes to money and their happiness...

Money is a tool to make us happy by satisfying ourselves and by giving our loved ones the needs that they deserve to have.

Sabi din nga ni Lisa from Blackpink: "MONEY I CHOOSE"

Have a nice day!
