Organized by the National Water Resources Board (NWRB) and Global Water Solutions Inc. - PH (Consultants) (GWSI), this session aims to equip water utilities with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate the challenges of a changing climate.

The webinar is designed to promote integrated water resources management and provide a platform for dialogue among water districts, government agencies, and civil society organizations. Key discussion topics include:
• 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁-𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Understanding the specific risks facing Philippine water utilities today.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: Members and representatives of Sangguniang Kabataan from different barangays have enthusiastically participated the training on “𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴” held yesterday—April 16, 2026.

The session aims to strengthen their capacity to understand not just individual concepts, but the connection between environment, gender, and climate resilience—paving the way for more inclusive and sustainable youth-led initiatives.

It is hoped that these young leaders will become more proactive in addressing climate challenges, promoting gender equality, and protecting local resources at the barangay level. They are encouraged to design and implement youth programs, projects, and activities that are responsive to the genuine needs of their communities.

We would like to acknowledge the respective barangay officials and parents of our participants, who have shown their support and encouragement in empowering our future leaders through this opportunity.

Also, our sincere appreciation to our resource speakers, Mr. Chad Christian D. Wales for sharing his expertise on Ecosystem and Biodiversity Conservation and Literacy, and Ms. Elia Maury Cunanan-Jadina for her valuable insights on Gender and Resilience. Their knowledge and engagement greatly contributed to the success of the training.
