On May 18, 2026, Commission on Population and Development National Capital Region (CPD NCR), mainly represented by CPD NCR Regional Director, Ms. Jackylin D. Robel, conducted the Capacity Development (CapDev) Assessment on the implementation of the Philippine Population and Development Plan of Action (PPD-POA) 2023-2028 with Pasig City POPDEV Office.

Held at Room 302, 3rd Floor of the Temporary City Hall at Pasig City, the sessions brought together Pasig City staff led by Pasig Cityโ€™s Population Program Officer IV, Prof. Corazon Raymundo, to align the cityโ€™s localized strategies with national and regional population and development goals. The assessment served as a baseline to evaluate Pasig Cityโ€™s POPDEV Officeโ€™s current capabilities, identify strategic gaps, and optimize resources for sustainable development.

By fostering a deeper understanding of the PPD-POA 2023-2028 framework and the Capacity Development pillars, the activity emphasized the importance of integrating population dynamics into local development planning. Strengthening these capacity ensures that Pasig City remains proactive and data-driven in addressing the evolving needs of every Pasigueรฑo.

The insights gathered from this assessment will pave the way for more targeted policies, inclusive programs, and more efficient public service delivery which aspires to build a vibrant, resilient, and human-centric Pasig City where no one is left behind!
