It was an absolute blast representing DLSU and vibing with tech enthusiasts from different chapters and partner universities.

On behalf of GDG-DLSU and our partners at the Peer Tutors Society, we would like to provide an important update regarding the second day of our workshop series.

Due to unforeseen logistical constraints and security protocols, Starter Stack Day 2 will now be exclusively open to DLSU students. We sincerely apologize for any disappointment this may cause our external participants. This decision was made to ensure the safety and quality of the learning experience for everyone involved. We are committed to exploring ways to share our resources with the wider community in the future.

We are officially 48 hours away from Starter Stack. If you are tired of just watching tutorials and are ready to actually build something, this is the workshop for you.

In partnership with the Peer Tutors Society, we’ve designed this 2-day sprint to ensure you walk away with a functional full-stack app.

Day 1: Frontend Foundations
Alec Nono will be leading the first session, focusing on mastering modern UI using React and Tailwind CSS.

Day 2: Backend & Data
Robert Enincas takes over for Day 2 to bridge the gap with backend logic and SQL integration.

Day 1 (Feb 11): Foundations & Frontend – Master HTML, CSS, and build modern interfaces using React and Tailwind! 🎨

Day 2 (Feb 18): Backend – Complete the loop by diving into Express.js and SQL! ⚙️

Hands-on Experience – No more “tutorial hell”; you’ll be building your very own mini-application! 🛠️
