Hey there, two weeks into the new year, and I finally got around to jotting down my goals for 2024! 😅 It took me a bit, but hey, better late than never, right? Here's to diving back into what truly sparks joy for me – DESIGNING – and committing to showing up more in 2024.

Funny story, I might be guilty of putting my brand on the back burner because I dove headfirst into designing someone else's website before my own. Thanks a bunch for the trust, by the way! 😂

Oh, and can we talk about the excitement of seeing Taylor Swift this year, especially in Singapore? ✈️ can't wait to sing my hearts out in Speak Now or 1989 era fits 🙈💜🩵

Fingers crossed, I'm also hoping to settle into our new home this year and carve out more precious moments with family and friends 🥹 (fam, friends, you know why)

But, above everything, let's remember to prioritize our health – mental, physical, and emotional. Because, really, that's the ultimate wealth. 🤍

So lots of people ask me “khay, what’s branding?” “Branding is Designing right?” “Is it making your business look aesthetic?”

One way to understand branding is to break it down into two components:

❋ Internal Branding and External Branding ❋

Internal branding focuses on the *strategy* and is the foundation of the brand. It includes everything beneath the surface, such as the mechanics, blueprint, roadmap, and thinking of the brand.

while, External branding, on the other hand, focuses on the design and is the visual representation of the brand. It's everything above the surface, such as the logo, tagline, and overall aesthetic.

So what’s more important?

Both, actually! But, it's important to prioritize internal branding before moving on to external branding because a successful brand starts with a strong strategy :))
