Update from CENTCOM Commander on Operation Epic Fury:
Report that the United States has attacked several Iranian vessels (reportedly around three) near the port of Bandar Lengeh in southern Iran in the past few hours.
The area sits along the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical maritime routes.

Erdoğan views the possible collapse of the Islamic Republic as a direct threat: the potential for Kurdish autonomy in Iran, the fear of a wave of refugees flowing into Turkey, and the concern that a new pro-Israeli regime in Tehran could threaten Turkey’s national interests.
As a result, according to reports, Turkey is preparing contingency plans for military operations inside Iran in the event that the regime collapses, aiming to establish a buffer zone against refugees and Kurdish entrenchment.
Ankara prefers an Islamic Republic that is strong enough to keep Israel and the West occupied — but not one that becomes too dominant in the region.
