Hon. John Angelo L. Buñag also known as “Kuya Jha-Jha” is a youth leader from Lucena City in the Province of Quezon. He is a former student of Sacred Heart College and an alumnus of Maryhill College. He is currently taking up Bachelor of Arts in Consular and Diplomatic Affairs at De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde.

He is the incumbent SK Chairperson of Barangay Dos (2) Lucena City and at the same time he is the newly elected president of Kabataan Kontra Droga At Terorismo (KKDAT) Lucena. Last 2020, he also won the award “Best Performing Ating Barkada Kontra Droga” (ABKD) of Lucena City. He was also recognized by the Federation of Parents and Teachers Association Lucena (FPTA) and DepEd Lucena as being one of their partners in sustaining and giving quality education to the youth of Lucena City especially in this time of pandemic.

He is indeed a public servant whose heart is always for the people, a youth leader who is always putting the youth’s welfare first before his. He strongly believes that the youth is still the hope of our fatherland and he wants to set an example and uplift the image of the youth that despite being young the youth can also contribute and bring a positive change for our country. An inspiring role model for the youth who promotes equality, a leader who manifests the act of volunteerism. He believes that it is not right just to watch and do nothing when many of our fellowmen are suffering and asking for help. John Angelo motivates us that what we need to do is to extend our hands to those who are in need.
