We concluded Week 4 of the Build Nights: Kiroverse Workshop last July 10. Shifting the focus to cloud-native, autonomous workflows, this session guided attendees directly from the terminal and IDE into the browser-driven environment of Kiro Web.
Participants discovered how Kiro's autonomous agent operates independently by planning tasks, delegating to sub-agents, and running ongoing verification loops. They gained hands-on experience integrating with GitHub, using comments to manage pull requests and automate the entire PR lifecycle. Additionally, they worked within sandbox environments to execute tasks in isolation with custom MCP server support, utilizing memory learnings and steering files to ensure the agent adhered to the established coding standard.
Alongside the deep technical learning, attendees participated in engaging icebreaker games and casual networking sessions, which brought together tech students, indie developers, and industry professionals in a collaborative space.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our opening remarks speaker, Ms. Trishia Pelago, Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as our workshop speakers, Mr. David Gabriel and Ms. Raven Reign, for demonstrating the capabilities of Kiro Web. We also thank our facilitators and organizers for ensuring the success of this event.

Last July 3, we wrapped up Week 3 of Build Nights: Terminal-First Development Workshop. Driven by a shift from GUI to CLI, this session gave participants a hands-on look at building with Kiro CLI.
Attendees learned how to write effective requirements documents, manage context for complex projects, and use Kiro CLI's agentic capabilities to build a complete application from the terminal. Guided activities and open discussions let them put these skills to work in real time, letting AI agents handle the heavy lifting while they focused on direction and review.
Beyond the technical dive, participants enjoyed fun icebreaker games and casual networking, connecting tech students, indie developers, and industry professionals in one room.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to our speaker, Mr. Mark Achiles Flores Jr., as well as the facilitators and organizers for making this event a success.
Let's keep the momentum going. See you at the next session!

Last July 10, we took our learning online for Week 4 of Build Nights: QuickQuest! This virtual session was all about transforming how we handle team information by building an intelligent knowledge base using AWS Quick Spaces & Memory.
During our virtual workshop, Ms. Salazar led an incredible hands-on lab. She broke down the automation architecture to make it easier for the participants to understand, explaining how AWS Quick acts as the cognitive "Brain" to process information, while UiPath serves as the robotic "Hands" to execute tasks. Even from behind our screens, the energy was high! Participants set up a local Python-based MCP server to connect Amazon Quick directly to a UiPath robot. Building upon their automated exam reviewers from Week 3, this allowed everyone to trigger study tasksโlike extracting specific mock exam questions and automatically logging them into a study tracker spreadsheetโentirely through a natural language chat interface! By the end of the night, attendees were able to make a functional system that eliminates information overload.
Ms. Salazar didnโt just share her technical knowledge with the participants; she also highlighted incredible career-building opportunities for the community. She talked about the UiPath Student Developer Champion applicationโinspiring everyone as the sole representative from the Philippines! She also shared details about an internship opportunity at Madrid PH and introduced her own volunteer-driven organization, WorkFlow PH.
Letโs keep up the great momentum and continue upskilling together! ๐

Last July 3, Week 3 of Build Nights: QuickQuest was all about cutting out manual busywork and learning how to put repetitive daily tasks on autopilot using AWS Quick Flows.
Instead of just sitting through a standard lecture, participants actively built their own automations in real time. Our first speaker laid the groundwork. Ms. Navarro introduced Quick Flows and explained exactly how the platform operates behind the scenes. Once everyone understood those core concepts, Mr. Alarcon walked us through triggersโthe essential feature that automatically kicks a workflow into action without needing manual intervention. With their laptops open while the discussion was ongoing, attendees configured their pipelines on the spot and asked our mentors over for debugging help the exact moment they encountered a difficulty along the way.
To balance out the intensive technical work, everyone stepped away from their screens halfway through for an engaging icebreaker session. It was a much-needed mental reset. Beyond just taking a quick breather from coding, the activity turned into a relaxed, low-pressure way to share ideas and connect with peers from various backgrounds.
Letโs keep up the great momentum and continue upskilling together! ๐

Every impactful decision is backed by solid data. However, stepping away from your main task just to search the web, read through endless articles, and manually synthesize information can easily ruin your momentum.
Letโs change how we gather data. This Week 5 of Build Nights, we are shifting our focus to Research-in-Flows: Insight as a Workflow Step to help you make data retrieval an automatic, effortless part of your daily workflow.
Instead of manually looking for answers, in this hands-on lab you will learn how to integrate AI-driven research directly into your existing processes and configure triggers that automatically pull, evaluate, and summarize critical information exactly when it is needed. By the time we wrap up, you will have a fully working setup that feeds actionable insights right into your operations without you ever having to open a new search tab.
Eliminate the tedious manual searches and let your automated workflows do the heavy lifting for you. Letโs boost your productivity this Friday!
