Poetry, also called verse, is a form of literature that uses aesthetic and often rhythmic qualities of language − such as phonaesthetics, sound symbolism, and meter − to evoke meanings in addition to, or in place of, a prosaic ostensible meaning. A forrm of literature that evokes a concentrated imaginative awareness of experience or a specific emotional response through language chosen and arranged for its meaning, sound, and rhythm. Poetry is used as a medium to express thoughts, ideas and poetry conveys feelings and emotions that often times words cannot pass through. It is an art not many are able to understand but can be interpreted in various of ways. When writing poetry words are carefully selected and added on the piece, this could be understood that when someone writes a poem for a special someone, to be able to write this piece the writer needs to think a bout this person for a few hours. Receiving a poem could translate to "I've been thinking about this for a long time, so I hope you appreciate it"
