“Building Strong Spelling Skills”

Our kindergarten students are practicing writing sentences through dictation.
They listen carefully to a sentence and write the words by sounding them out.
Some spellings may not be perfect yet, and that is part of the learning process as children develop stronger listening, phonics, and spelling skills.

Practice makes perfect.

This page started during the pandemic with a simple goal: to help students who were struggling with their modules and needed extra support in their learning. Through module assistance and small tutoring sessions, we were able to help many students continue learning during a very challenging time.

For the past few years, the page has been inactive because I had the opportunity to teach abroad—first in Thailand and now in the United States. During this time, I gained valuable experience and training in effective, science-based teaching practices.

Today, I’m excited to share that this small tutorial initiative is growing into something bigger. With greater confidence, experience, and a strong teaching approach, we are preparing to open Learn and Leap Early Learning Center.

What began as a small effort to help students will soon become a learning center dedicated to building strong foundations in early reading and math.
