One thing we always hear during our dessert buffet set-ups is:
“Wait… are these edible? We thought they were just part of the decorations!” 😆

These tiny glossy chocolates are called bonbons — delicate bite-sized chocolate confections that are as beautiful as they are delicious.

Fun fact: the word “bonbon” comes from the French word bon, meaning “good.” These elegant treats originated in France and became popular for their artistic designs and luxurious fillings. Usually made with tempered chocolate shells filled with ganache, caramel, praline, fruit purée, nuts, and many more indulgent flavors.

And yes — they’re meant to be eaten in one or two bites for the full experience. 😉

Definitely a melts-in-your-mouth experience!
