The works of the flesh show ones obedience to the lusts of the carnal flesh,
not God,
The bible says doctrine without the fruit of the Spirit of God is the talk of a false prophet.
if there is not Fruit of the spirit, God is not present in their lives.

idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions,

Judge not according to the appearance (fancy memes, doctrine, bake sales, money, materialism, prophecies, revelations, beautifully made youtube videos, etc)

But judge righteous judgment (The Fruit, the lifestyle, the character of the person) John 7:24

1 John 4:1 - Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits (test them by their fruit, lifestyle) whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
