I mentioned on a different post here months ago (last January) that I'm going to apply for a Korea tourist visa again because I have an upcoming trip with friends this coming June for BTS' Festa.

I applied again last April 25, 2025 in the morning at the Korea Visa Application Center Manila. In the afternoon, it reflected on the Korea Visa Portal website that my application status was Application Received. Then last May 5, 2025 at around 10:57 in the morning, my visa application status was changed from Application Received to Under Review status.

I saw that I got approved for a single entry Korea tourist visa last May 7, 2025 at around 2:58 in the afternoon on the Korea Visa Portal website (it changed from Under Review status to Approved status). Then I got my passport at home yesterday morning, May 9, 2025 (this was days earlier than my original re-visiting date of May 13, 2025). I chose to have my passport delivered at our home because I don't have the time to go to KVAC just to claim my passport.

The visa application processing at KVAC costs around 900 PHP (cash only basis) and the delivery by WExpress costs around 300 PHP (cash only basis) because I'm located within Metro Manila. For the requirements, because I'm a full time employee, I only followed and submitted the requirements indicated on the Korea Embassy website (https://overseas.mofa.go.kr/ph-en/brd/m_3277/view.do?seq=684566&page=2) plus the additional Data Privacy Consent Form from KVAC (https://visaforkorea-mn.com/customercenter/notice/view/906). All of my documents were printed on a A4 sized paper except for the documents that I got from the bank (bank certificates and statements).

I'm really thankful that I got approved again even if I got another single entry tourist visa. But because I only got a single entry tourist visa, I don't know anymore when I'm going back to South Korea after next month's trip.

For those who are planning to go to South Korea next month to celebrate BTS Festa / BTS Anniversary, good luck on your Korea tourist visa applications. 💜

This is already my 6th Korea Tourist Visa application. I'll just put here again the summary about all of my Korea Tourist Visa application throughout the years for reference:

* May 2014 - Single Entry Tourist Visa (I applied directly at the Korean Embassy)
* March 2015 - 1 Year Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (I also applied directly at the Korean Embassy)
* November 2018 - 5 Years Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (I applied through an accredited travel agency - via JTB Philippines' Manila Head Office branch at BGC. This was the time when the Korean Embassy stopped accepting applications directly and they had a list of accredited travel agencies on their website where we can send our Korea Tourist visa applications)
* January 2024 - Single Entry Tourist Visa (I applied at the Korea Visa Application Center Philippines / KVAC)
* January 2025 - Single Entry Tourist Visa (I applied again at the Korea Visa Application Center Philippines / KVAC)
* May 2025 - Single Entry Tourist Visa (I applied again at the Korea Visa Application Center Philippines / KVAC)
