Working Conditions in the Movie and Television Industry

01/02/2022

: Pursuant to the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) Resolution No. 150-A series of 2022, the National Capital Region and seven other provinces will be placed under COVID-19 Alert Level 2 from February 1 to 15, 2022.

The decision to place these areas back to the second lowest alert level comes after the decline in recorded COVID-19 cases in the past days.

Under Alert Level 2, film, music, and television production are allowed to resume with a maximum of 50 people on-site, subject to the joint guidelines as may be issued by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and the Department of Health.

: Effective January 3, 2022, the National Capital Region (NCR) will be under COVID-19 Alert Level 3 until January 15.

The reversion of the NCR to the more stringent alert level came after the spike in COVID-19 cases attributed to the Omicron variant in the beginning of the year.

Production shoots in areas under Alert Level 3 may still resume, provided that the location will be limited to a maximum of 50 people, subject to the joint guidelines as may be issued by the DTI, DOLE, and the DOH.
